|Eligibility||Students with Disabilities|
Please read the following information carefully before submitting an Intent to Audition form.
Any student who has been accepted to Penn State University and assigned to the University Park campus and/or any student currently enrolled at the University Park campus may attend the clinic and audition.
Interested students who are currently attending classes at any of the branch campus locations, or incoming freshmen placed at a branch campus, may attend the clinic and be considered for an “Early Transfer Audition.” Be advised that the early transfer process is extremely competitive. Consideration for an early transfer is based on the quality of your audition. The final decision on academic eligibility for early transfer is made in the Academic Services Office. Clinic attendance would be, at the very least, a valuable introduction to the requirements of a successful Blue Band Silk audition.
Wear shorts and tennis shoes (sneakers) and a form-fitting short sleeve or sleeveless jersey or shell (or warm-up outfit). Do not wear blue jeans!

Students with Disabilities
Penn State welcomes students with disabilities into the University's programs, activities, and courses and provides reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities to ensure equal access and an equal opportunity to participate. If you have a disability-related need for reasonable accommodations for the auditions for the Blue Band, please contact the Office for Disability Services, ODS, by phone at 1-814-863-1807(V/TTY) or in-person (ODS is located in 116 Boucke Building). Please provide adequate notice of this need so that appropriate arrangements can be made in time for auditions. For further information regarding ODS please visit their web site at http://www.equity.psu.edu/ods.
There are no scholarships available for majorettes or silks who perform with the Blue Band. The Penn State Marching Blue Band is proud to be one of the nation's premier university marching bands.
